In order to get free parking during your cruise, just let the front desk know at the hotel when you check-in and they’ll tell you where to park. They don’t provide shuttle service to the port, so you’ll need to secure your own transportation. The Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome hotel has a “Port of New Orleans Cruise Package” that provides 8 nights of parking for free during your cruise. No shuttle, but they are only about a mile from the port so if you don’t have a ton of luggage, walking to your terminal is a possibility.

All you have to do is park and then walk right to theterminal to board your ship. New Orleans International Airport is in Kenner, Jefferson Parish. Interstate 10 conveniently links the area with the cruise terminals and central New Orleans. You can reach both cruise terminals in less than 10 minutes by taxi. Both Erato Street and Julia Street cruise terminals are about 7 minutes away. This luxurious, multi-storey hotel is located directly opposite the New Orleans cruise terminal on the Mississippi River.
Renting a Car
The express bus is usually faster and has two stops within a 10-minute drive of the New Orleans cruise port. Both buses depart from the outer curb outside the Ticket Lobby on Level 3. The Erato Street Cruise Terminal Parking Garage is located on top of the terminal. There are porters to assist passengers inside the garage with transporting luggage to the ship.

However, the most convenient options can be found at The Outlets at Riverwalk, which is conveniently located at the top of the Julia Street Cruise Terminal. There is a refreshment stand and a small store selling souvenirs and personal items in the cruise terminals at Port NOLA. Cruise parking at the port is a flat fee of $25 per day with the total cost depending on the length of the cruise. To book their cruise package you must stay a minimum of twonights, and you get free parking for up to 7 nights.
